What time should I arrive for worship?

We have folks welcoming people to worship starting at 10:45 a.m. Most people generally show up 10 or 15 minutes before the service starts to settle themselves and greet their friends.

When you arrive…

Come upstairs to our Sanctuary. If you need handicapped assistance, please utilize our elevator. The usher will greet you and answer any questions you might have. When you enter the church Sanctuary an usher will hand you a bulletin that contains the order of worship.

What Will the Service Be like?

Our worship service is about 70 minutes in length. We celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday. You are also welcome to stay after the service to connect with others downstairs in our fellowship hall. Our service is a traditional ELCA Lutheran worship service: liturgical with a mix of traditional and contemporary music led by worship leaders. We follow the Revised Common Lectionary.

We have an older building that was built in stages, so accessibility is a little confusing – but our entire building is is wheelchair accessible. Elevator access is available for the Sanctuary on the top floor. To utilize the restrooms from the Sanctuary you must go down the elevator, outside under the covered walkway going toward the parking lot, and enter in the building through the windowed door. Restrooms are around the corner through the hallway on the right hand side.

Please ask an usher if you’d like a hearing assistance device to use during worship.

What do I wear?

Like many places in life, people dress in a variety of ways at Trinity Lutheran church. Whatever you wear, you will be welcome. Jeans, dress shirts, Capri's, t-shirts, suits, and dresses are all seen on any given Sunday.

What about my kids?

Children are always welcome at Trinity Lutheran Church! We encourage families to sit together, toward the front, so children can be engaged. We recognize these are busy times for families, and rarely do you have the opportunity to do something together! We are glad to have the sound of a wide variety of ages and abilities in our worship service. Children are dismissed for a Sunday School time following the Children’s Sermon with the Pastor. There is a book and activities area for children who want to stay during the worship service, and we have a special room in the back of the Sanctuary for tiny children and their parents equipped with a changing table and rocking chair. You may comfort your children there while still being able to participate in the worship service.
